A while ago I had a emotionally abusive boyfriend who broke up with me after it took a really long time for him to decide for us to go out. About 2 weeks after I met another guy who is the exact opposite of him, he's really caring and nice and completely sweet to me. It took me a while to tell him I liked him but I did and he told me he liked me too. The problem is that we live in different states and nothing was really said about dating, but I think it went without being said because all of his friends now call me his girlfriend and he doesn't object. His best friend who's one of my really good friends said he was sure it was official, but I'm still not sure. Advice?Relationship advice? I'm really unsure here!?
There is only one way to know, just ask. If you ask and get it all out both of you will be on the same page. If you care for him and you want to ';make it offical'; ask him. Call him up and ask him out I know it sound cheesey but this way you will not get the I never said that line. Communication is the most important thing. Goold luck!Relationship advice? I'm really unsure here!?
sounds like he either assumes you two are going out, or is afraid to ask you if you are. i would ask him if you two are officially going out and if he says he just wants to be just two people who like each other just accept it because long distance relationships are hard
Well he does live in another state but hey who said long distance relationships wont work right? i say just try it give this boy a chance he seems nicer than your ex and if he doesnt work out find someone else but dont go back to your ex if hes abusive trust me ive been down that path not a good road.
Word be carefule.
i think you're lucky
One of the biggest mistakes is to ';date'; someone who lives in another state. The reason I say ';mistake'; is because you can't date when you live so far away from someone. I'm sure he was sincere about liking you and that you are his girlfriend but both of you will soon realize that you'll miss out on a lot of fun times if you have to wait for months just to see each other. Will you email, text, talk on a regular basis? Be honest with him and ask him if he plans to date anyone and how he'd feel if you did the same, even if it's a casual date. Of course, his friends will tell him everything you're doing so discussing it with him beforehand is the best route to go.
