Urgent relationship advice needed about My girl friend?

so I met this girl 4 months ago through a friend. she was staying with my friend for few days because she had some business to do here in los angeles. the location of this business was very close to where I was living. so i invited her to stay at my apartment and she accepted. she only knew me briefly from the past and yet she stayed at my apartment for one month (Not that I did not like it). then we decided to start a long distance relationship. at first I did not care about these things but now that our relationship gets deeper I keep thinking about the past. she says she did not have any relationship with my friend and I believe her. how ever I just think how we met and got aquinted is a little awkward what do u think?
