Relationship advice!?

I was in a relationship for almost six years. On July 4th I was supposed to go out with my bf and he called and canceled the plans.


I was very angry so I told him how I felt. My anger took over me and I hung up on him. The next thing you know I received a text message from him saying that he's tired of my crap and he doesn鈥檛 want us to be together any more. Every since then I haven't been feeling my self. We tried being friends and that didn鈥檛 work out so I really don鈥檛 know what to do. I miss him a lot. I miss getting his text massages I really miss everything about him. I really need some advice.Relationship advice!?

Okay,well thats a long time to be together and a lot to get over, dearie.


But one thing a lot of us learned the hard way is you can't rush into being friends,it just doesn't work,u need time to heal up first. Try telling him exactly how you feel but don't put in that you miss him too much, only a little so you don't seem weak. Be strong,girl. Go out and buy a new outfit and have a night out with some friends,live it up and act like it doesn't bother you and just have a great time. Eventually the pain will fade. And whenever u find yourself thinking of him, just name 5 or 10 good things in your life without him and push him out of your head. These are all things I did when I was in your situation.

Talk to him about your feelings and explain why you were so angry.
Well every one says and does things in anger that we don't necessarily mean. If you were in the wrong then apologize and leave it at that. If he really wants a break up there is no reason to push it because it will only end in more heartache. And whatever pain you may be experiencing is normal. Change is a difficult thing to deal with and it's hard to move on but this may be the very best for you both. Thing like this don't just happen because of one argument,it is usually from problems more deeply rooted.
