Relationship advice please?

My ex and I broke up two months ago but still hang out a lot. We are practically dating but the timing isn't right now b/c he's working and I'm still in school so we're going to try again in a few months when I move closer to him for a job.





But I can't help but wonder what he's doing, especially since we have both kind of said we wouldn't do anything with anyone else.





I know he's meeting new people but the other day there was a gmail chat he left on his computer and even though he was hanging out with me that night, he told his friend he was hanging out with a girl he met last week. I know he made this up...but why? Is he embarassed to tell his friend he's hanging out with his ex? Is he trying to sound cool?





I don't know what to do. I feel like I should have let it go since I shouldn't have read it but maybe I should just stop seeing him and break this all off...what should I do? We both love each other and I really want to make it work.Relationship advice please?
